Cedar Ventures, LLC is an advisory and venture capital management firm with an existing portfolio of venture investments from a prior fund. Cedar is currently in discussions with some investors about a pledge fund where investors will have the opportunity to decide on a case by case basis whether or not to invest in a particular transaction.* Cedar will then manage the investment. Cedar also has a relationship with a firm in New York to access their funds for investment, generally post start up, companies having revenues in excess of $1 million in the areas of healthcare and information technology and business services. We are in discussions with a few other groups to provide capital for companies with revenues of less than $1 million. Cedar also advises and consults with companies that are negotiating with investors or are seeking to be sold. We have relationships with many private equity firms since we have co-invested and worked with these firms. The word Cedar means firm foundation, and Cedar Ventures LLC is seeking to use its thorough knowledge of certain industries such as Healthcare and Technology, combined with its ability to identify and entrepreneurs to help build solid foundations resulting in successful, growing and profitable companies.
